Delete Your Account and Data

Mutu is an invite-only community app operated by Muturing. You can delete your Mutu account and associated personal data at any time, using either method below.

Option 1 — Delete in the app (fastest)

Open the Mutu app and sign in.
Go to Settings (your profile menu).
Scroll to the Account section and tap Delete account.
Confirm. Your account is deactivated immediately and your data is removed as described below.

Option 2 — Request deletion by email

If you can't access the app, email privacy@muturing.com from the address associated with your account and ask us to delete your account. We may ask you to confirm ownership of the account before we proceed.

Delete some of your data (without closing your account)

If you want us to delete specific personal data but keep your account, email privacy@muturing.com from your account email and tell us what you'd like removed (for example, a specific post, your phone number, or your profile photo). We action these requests within 30 days.

What data is deleted

When you delete your account, we delete or de-identify:

Your profile information (name, photo, headline, title, program, location, phone number)
Your posts, requests, and events
Your messages and matches
Your account and sign-in identifiers (email / Google identity)

This is completed within 30 days of your request. Content you shared with other members (for example, a message already delivered) may be de-identified rather than removed from the other member's view.
